Battstock Returns

Battstock is a micro-festival hosted in the grounds of Batt School in Witney and is set to return for its second year on Saturday 10th September. In classic Oxfordshire fashion, the festival is family friendly with a focus on local acts,  as well as good grub and activities a plenty.

Small though it may be, the organisers carry some local clout; founded by Adrian Phillips who runs the excellent TunA the Day blog/community/podcast and Graeme Merrifield who is well known for his work running Wychwood Festival, punters can expect a highly-organised event.

Some great live acts such as  The Outcast Band and Thrill Collins are lined up to play along with Oxfordshire artists Miriam Jones and Phousa. Also on the bill are Blues/folk singer Russell Morgan from Cheshire and the’perfect pop of Portsmouth’, Leigh Mary Stokes.

Tickets are just £7 for adults and £3 for under-16s and are available here, or from the Rapture Store in Witney.
