Guitar wielding duo, Big Deal have announced the release of their debut album. Lights Out will be out on August 29th courtesy of Mute Records. Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe rely solely upon one acoustic guitar, one electric guitar and their voices in order to create their fascinating and delicate songs about youthful angst and the disappointments of adulthood.
Lights Out, which was co-produced by Underwood and Dean Reid, will feature twelve deeply personal songs, exploring the intimate nature of relationships and insecurity. It may not be entirely original, with many modern breathrough indie acts this year playing the “girl/boy duo” card, but the poignancy of the lyricism and the elegance of the compositions are sure to make it a captivating listen.
Big Deal will be performing at Hop Farm, Wireless, Reading & Leeds and End Of The Road this summer.
