Truly a showcase of the spirit of the Oxford music community, D Fest is a small, but brimming all-day event run and curated by Dead Jerichos‘ Craig Evans, that will cost you nothing to attend.
Last year proved by all accounts, a fantastic success and this year (the second coming, as its been dubbed) looks to be bigger and better. The line up is an eclectic collection that focuses on the kind of local acts currently in the transition into becoming familiar names for anyone with a knowledge of the local scene; in other words, the bands likely to peppered around Truck Festival and beyond, a year from now.
Most of the action will be taking place at the Red Lion on the 30th July, however, a small acoustic warm up evening will also be held at The Wheatsheaf on the 9th; each stage has plenty on offer with with the ever-reliable Charly Coombes & The New Breed, and Secret Rivals, to round the evening off. There are more acts to be announced but the current line up, as well as timings, can be found over at the facebook page.
