A busy summer for Dog is Dead by the sounds of things. Not only did the poppy indie-folk balladeers play 25 festivals, to top it off they are embarking on another tour already, giving Oxfordians a chance to see their cruelly worked-to-the-bone fingers at The Truck Store Music and Arts Emporium on the 13th October.
This slogging seems to be paying off however, regularly featured on Radio One (among others…obv), Dog is Dead have received spins from the likes of Nick (Isenbard) Grimshaw and Fearne (Kingdom) Cotton; making it onto the coveted albeit irritatingly titled ‘In New Music We Trust’ playlist.
The young ‘uns seem to know their niche, and have done particularly well so far; the new album All Our Favourite Stories is out on the 8th on none other than the prestigious Atlantic Records.
Holy. Fucking. Wow.
