Why? The buzz behind his band has proclaims Outfit to be Liverpool’s current most exciting band, but don’t go to this gig expecting to hear the a bunch of mop-haired, smartly dressed waifs singing doo-wop harmonies, or even a bunch of mop-haired psych-dream-poppers singing about dreams of you, this band has more akin with the current indie electronic-pop scene of America than bands of the ‘pool from the past. Recalling elements of Arthur Russell, Deerhunter and Caribou, Outfit are fast becoming the dearly beloved of the likes of The Fly, Abeano, NME and Q.
