New Video: Treelight For Sunlight

If you caught Treelight For Sunlight performing on the Clash Tent at this year’s Truck Festival, you would have been treated to one of the most pleasant surprises of the weekend; a flawless rendition of Kate Bush’s ‘Wuthering Heights’. And I mean, flawless. At the time I was sitting outside the tent, looking a little frazzled and burnt, and when I heard the high pitched vocal wailing of the song’s chorus I had to get off my bum and take a peek inside the tent just to make sure that Miss Bush wasn’t in fact making a guest appearance.

Signed to Bella Union, Treelight For Sunlight have released a brand new video for the song ‘Time Stretcher’. The video itself, created by the very talented hands of Jonas Kloch & Adam Gilbert-Jespersen, features the trials of a stop animation ragdoll as his terrifying nightmares become a reality; kind of like Aardman Productions meets David Lynch. The music also exists in that bizarre and sometimes perturbing moment of when the line between a dream world and reality is hopelessly blurred.

The band’s self-titled debut was released last February.
