Stornoway Head Charity Gig

One of Oxford’s most successful exports in recent years, Stornoway are to headline a gig in aid of Concert4Conservation at The Regal on 3rd September.

Singer Brian Briggs has long been passionate about wildlife and humanity’s responsibility to preserve it, he completed his doctorate on wildfowl conservation at Oxford University in 2008.

Further adding to excitement to Stornoway’s first gig in Oxford since November 2010, is that support will be provided in suitably pastoral form by The Epstein and Truck Festival house-band Dreaming Spires.

Charities set to benefit from the gig are the Sumatran Orangutan Society, the Earth Trust and the RSPB.
