On Tour: Wild Nothing

Virginia, USA’s indie-pop upstarts Wild Nothing have announced a European tour which will see the band visit Britain, for their first ever time, in mid-August. The band’s first performance will be at this year’s Green Man Festival on August 20th alongside headliners Fleet Foxes, Explosions In The Sky and Iron And Wine. The band will then play at the Deaf Institute in Manchester on the 21st, the Captain’s Rest in Glasgow on the 22nd and supporting Warpaint in Edinburgh at the Queen’s Hall on the 23rd. The band will also return to the UK in September to perform at End Of The Road Festival on the 4th. Check out this video of the band performing their song ‘Summer Holiday’ live on KEXP.

This isn’t their first ever time in Britain; they played Truck last year.

@TomJowett Ah fair play. I had a pretty long chat with Jack Tatum at Truck, he’s a really nice guy.
