YOOF. Branches Out

Oxford’s loudest club night, YOOF. is set to broaden it’s horizons as it expands to the Jericho Tavern on the 2nd March, with the regular YOOF. night that we all know and love hitting the Cellar as usual on the 5th. Both nights look set to present fantastic up and coming bands with typically excellent local acts as support.

The 2nd will see the return of previous YOOF. headliners, Fiction, who are set to get the legs of Jericho a-moving with their unusual take on the indie-dance formula. Get on over to their myspace right now and get familiar with them because these are songs that begged to be sung along to!

Support comes in the form of Beaty Heart, with their bizarre and psychadelic pop, as well as OMB’s fave math-rockers, Gunning For Tamar.

Entry is just £6 (get your tickets here) and the doors are from 7-10pm, and you’ll be thankful the earlier than usual finish as you’ll need the next couple of days to recover in time for Exlovers on the 5th.

Exlovers are a recent Rough Trade signing, which should give you an idea as to their quality as a live act who knock out sparkling fuzz-rock in the vein of Yuck and The Vaccines.

With support from the excellent Pushing Hands and Glass Animals, as well as DJs to take the night onto 3am, this promises to be a big one, and all for just £5! Don’t miss out, get yourself a ticket here.
